Deadline for online school registration. This must be submitted by the science research teacher at that school via online registration. No students may be registered after this deadline.
Any student that has chosen the optional, extended deadline (Jan. 18th) MUST still submit forms 1, 1A, 1B and the research plan. In addition the fee for the optional, extended deadline ($150 = combined $50 normal fee + $100 late fee) must also be submitted by Dec. 20th!!
Postmark deadline for all forms (except form 1C), hard copy of the school registration, and checks for registration fees. All materials should be mailed to: Angelo Piccirillo, Ossining High School, 29 South Highland Ave., Ossining, New York 10562
Optional LATE Deadline for final registrant paperwork (must have pre-paid $150 – combined $50 normal fee + $100 late fee). This includes student research paper, official abstract form and any additional project specific forms. All paperwork must be received by this date. Failure to submit necessary paper work will result in a disqualification.

(FRIDAY) WESEF Board Drop Off (MANDATORY)
All students MUST drop off posters the day before the fair between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm in the Sleepy Hollow High School Gymnasium on Friday, March 15th, 2019. Either the student, parent, friend or teacher may drop off the board – the fair participant does not need to be present at the Friday drop-off.
However, failure to have boards dropped off and set-up for final inspection by this time will result in a disqualification.
- Boards must be completely assembled with title, slides and any additional materials/ props that will appear on the table.
- Wi-Fi is NOT available at Sleepy Hollow HS and access to internet for presentation purposed is against WESEF/ISEF rules.
- Requests for electricity at booth. Please remember and remind students and parents that these requests and not demands. These requests are limited to projects where electricity is necessary and an integral part of the students presentation. We please ask of you to limit to those that are are absolutely necessary. We strongly suggest that students have a back-up plan in case this accommodation is not possible. You can send your requests to: Angelo Piccirillo. Deadline is 2/25/2019
(Saturday) WESEF – Day of Fair
Schedule of the Fair Day:
8:30 – 9:00 am Students Arrive (wait in auditorium)
9:00 am Judges Arrive – (proceed to cafeteria for breakfast)
9:20 am Floor opens for students – Attendance will be taken at your posters
9:30 am Short Judge Briefing in the Auditorium
10:00 am – 3:00 pm Judging Sessions
Lunch will be provided
3:00 pm – 4:30 pm Public Viewing Session – Participants are REQUIRED to stay at their posters until 4:30
4:30 pm – 5:00 pm Poster Breakdown/ Removal & Clean Up
5:00 pm – 6:45 pm Dinner on your own
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm WESEF Awards Ceremony
9:00 pm – 10:00 pm Finalists Meeting – parent will be required to attend if selected for trip to ISEF/ISWEEEP
